 | I am a triple board-certified pathologist and forensic pathologist with a strong interest in and experience with the management of the practice of medicine. I have had the opportunity to explore and succeed at the privatization of medical examiner offices and the practice of forensic pathology. The model I created in Tennessee presents a viable alternative to the typical government-based medical examiner office. My interests have now moved from the day-to-day practice of medicine to medical management; specifically the management of medical processes and workflows, change management in medicine, and the application of technology to medicine. Building on my forensic and management experiences, I am particularly interested in the practical applications of digital pathology and image analysis as well as change management and workflow/process improvement. |

Dr. Bruce P. Levy is an expert as a medical examiner and in clinical informatics. He pioneered in the privatization of medical examiner offices and the application of medical management, workflow process improvement and clinical informatics to forensic medicine. He advanced the application of informatics to the practice of the medical examiner.
